There were many highlights of this event but one worth noting. Raffle items won but the winner had the choice to auction the item off. Charlie Simons won a Cleveland 58 degree wedge valued at $150.00 and chose to auction it off. The bidding got hot the D’Lynn Roach and his father Troy Roach got into a bidding war. D’Lynn won the battle at $1000.00 and a few of us chipped in to make it a total of $1200.00 for a $150.00 wedge. This was the spirit of what The Grants Pass Active Club brings for all they do for the children in our community. Thank you all for being part of this event.
