2016 Club Championship Results

The results are in and there is a new club champion here at Applegate River Golf Club.

Congratulations to Matt Wenger who won the two day tournament’s championship flight by shooting a 77 on Saturday and 71 today. The Senior division winner was Ed Borgnino who shot a 153 over the two days. The Women’s division was won by Becky Baier. Steve Gribble was the Open flight winner for 2016. Matt and Ed will go on to represent Applegate River Golf Club in the OGA Tournament of Champions next April along with Chuck McGarry who had won the club championship the past two years and has one year of eligibility left.

Bill Hults shot a two day score of 154 to finish second in the championship flight; while Kelly Kenny posted a 164 for second in the Senior division. Susie Jaramillo took second place for the ladies.

The top three net shooters were Troy Brown in first, John Flynn in second and Jim Caetano earned the third place prize.
